Haiti - Sports : The Grenadiers lose in a friendly against Colombia [3-1]
Sunday evening at Marlins Stadium in Miami (Florida) in a friendly match in preparation for the "Copa America Centenario" between Haiti and Colombia, the Grenadiers were defeated [3-1] against the Cafeteros.

Patrice Neveu, the national coach opted for a 4-3-2-1, a device whose mission was to prevent Colombians to have control of the axis of the field. But for lack of cohesion of the Grenadiers between defense and midfield, this strategy has not really hindered the Cafeteros of José Pekerman who opened the scoring through a Dayron Moreno shot in the 13' minute before an absent Haitian defense.

The Grenadiers progressively resume the ball, whereas at the 22' minute Colombians pass near 2-0 without the effectiveness of Jhonny Placide. In the 35' minute a superb head recovery by Wilde Donald Guerrier place an unstoppable shot and equalizes the score [1-1].

In the 39th minute the midfielder Haitian Max Hilaire, already warned, receives a second yellow card for a foul indisputable, forcing the Grenadiers to play the rest of the match shorthanded.

At halftime the score is unchanged [1-1].

After the break, Jose Pekerman makes three changes in Cafeteros, meanwhile Patrice Neveu proceed with a series of changes in the Grenadiers: Jeff Louis replaced by Soni Mustivar (48), Donald Guerrier, replaced by Sony Nordé (48' ), Jean Sony Alcénat replaced by Reginald Gorreux (55'), Belfort Kervens Fils replaced by Duckens Nazon (62'), James Marcelin replaced by Jean Alexandre (59') and Kevin Lafrance replaced by Bryan Alcéus (78').

In the second half, Juan Cuadrado (54 ') scored the second goal against the Grenadiers [2-1], which does show discouraged, passing close to the equalizer in the 55' minute. However, despite the changes, Roger Martinez of Cafeteros registered another goal in the 72' [3-1]. Despite all the attempts of Grenadiers, the score will remain unchanged until the end of the match.

Note that Colombians participate in the Copa America for the first time in their history and will start against Brazil on June 6

This Monday, the Grenadiers will take the direction of Seattle, home of their first match in the competition against Peru on 4 June.

Haitian starting lineup :
Johny Placide, Sony Alcenat, Romain Genevois, Mechak Jerome , Kim Jaggy, Kevin Lafrance, James Marcelin, Max Hilaire, Jeff Louis, Belfort Kervens and Donald Guerrier.
